 This Year the Berry Family finally decided to get together for the New Years Eve out in Cedar Fort to sled. We got there around 3:00 pm and stayed there until it was pitch black. We had chili and hot chocolate with using the coco motion machine. I did some racing on the sled with my cousins in which i broke one of the green ninja turtle sled. In which ten minutes later cute 8 year old Gavin ask "Um who broke this".. Yeah  I only felt a little bad  because lucky there was a lot other sleds around. It was a wonderful experience to have all the family together all doing something active and different. Who knew the Cedar Fort rodeo grounds would be a great place to do some sledding.

So today was Danielle big 27th birthday. We got together and ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant  and then after we ran all over getting last minute party favors. At 9:00 pm we had a classic 50's party. We had 50's music, food, and games and of course 50's attire. Happy Birthday Danny!

This Christmas went by a little fast with getting home just six days before. However it was a wonderful Christmas with the family. We were able to do the norms with Christmas pajamas on the 24th and french toast casserole for breakfast and playing games and watching movies all day. I received a few great movies lit "Water for Elephants" and a Tablet which I had no idea how to use.

For Christmas Eve I was able to head up to my Dad's house. Dad surprised me with a giraffe sponge and tons of candy, a new smart phone which I'm stilling learning how to use and a bunch dollars hidden in a box with shredded up paper. It was a pretty white winter day in which when driving home I did a 540 on state street, probably one of the most scariest things ever.

AHHHHH MY LAST P- DAY!!!!! IN THE BEST MISSION IN THE WORLD!!!!! crazy!!!

 

I'm starting to freak out again!!! Ah my cute Compie Hermana Joglar made me start to pack today and sorted out my last weeks of clothes!!!! ah this girl is great.. She is helping me so much so I'm not stressing!!! Anyways back to mission talk..

 

Paulina got baptized Saturday night which  was so pretty the chapel was full of great Relief Society sisters and converts.. She was glowing after the baptism and kept mentioning that I am her  friend for real.. Sunday she was sick so she didnt receive the Holy Ghost which is sad.. So pray hard for her that she will be able to receive it next week..  Sunday Nadia and Katy showed up our cute less active sisters that contacted us on Tuesday saying ¨hey sisters, were Mormon too.. Can you visit us we want to return to the gospel¨.. how amazing right.. They showed up at church right on time with their babies and everything and stayed all three hours.. It was a great moment to watch. Sacrament was sad at the the end of the talks i gave my last testimony ever and all the members began to come and give me hugs and a few gave me jewelry that they were wearing because they thought i would be leaving today.. It  was neat to feel all the love they have for me with only knowing them for 6 weeks here.  

 My compie has been so sweet and has a lot of great energy  she has been helping me to keep moving forward in the work . We have been using the ward directory list look for new people to teach and the other day we knocked on the door and the parents live there but the sons which are members have changed homes and one passed away . We felt really bad because it was 5 years ago and the church still had all the information. We were able to enter the home and teach the plan salvation and it went really well. We are going back this week. Hermana Joglar began to sing ¨¨Ïf your happy and you know it clap your hands¨¨ in Spanish and then I did it in English and we changed clapping hands to singing, waving ,stomping .a whole bunch of dumb things hahaha... We have been singing Christmas carols for contacting and it has been working well-.. many are really surprise and say hold on and they look for their spouse or child.. It has been a great experience to see the light of Christ enter their eyes during the song.. We have had a many great miracles this week and I know its because we are doing all the the Lords wants of us.. The challenge now is to enter all those home where we sing at... Tomorrow our young women are going to do some Christmas caroling with us too. I hope this activity will bring the people the Lord has prepared..

 

I love you each and challenge you to think about a friend or family that might be alone and go out and visit them or sing for them.. Bring them the Light of Christ that you have in your life.. Help them know that they are a Child of God.. Do something more this week.

 

I love you all and am so overly filled with joy to see you all next week at 3:44pm Tuesday 18thin SLC airport.. mom dont be late... Dad please help her.. I will also be arriving in LAX airport at 7:05 am Tuesday 18th and be there for a lay over for my wonderful families and friends in ridge..

December 3rd Letter

ey everyone thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes!!!!

I would love to sit and write each of you but here in the mission the time is limited... But THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!  We had a Arica conference with president and sister Bruce which was fun. We then had a lesson with our cute member Hna. Grace and her two boys and they gifted me a shiny flower ring and some of their play toys it was so sweet... We didnt have cake but the next day our mamita of food had the kitchen decorated with balloons and had cake . I celebrated my birthday a little bit everyday... It was good. The best gift was Wednesday night we had an appointment with Paulina and Gabriel they're the cute couple that got married last week in which i caught the wedding bouquet. hahah anyways 

she started the lesson with im mad at you. 

We asked why. 

She said ¨you didnt come monday night¨¨ 

We told her we didnt have an appointment with them that night.

so  she says i missed you both so much.. its been so long since this good spirit feeling..( only two days after sunday)  I want to get baptized.. im not waiting for my husband to get the priesthood i want to do it know..

ah MIRACLE!!!!! because the other day she say yeah maybe in march i ´ll get married....

So me being all emotional began to testify and put the fetcha for the December 8!!! and she accepted"" AHHHHHHH!!! YES!!!

So  im so excited.... We also had cambios saturday night... and of course president is going to change hna burnett because that would be to easy for her to stay in the same place with the same compie.. so im going to be with an Argentinean name hna Jogar!!! im super excited!!!!

 Change is great i can truly testify of that... I hope that you are all changing your heart and your focus on the Lord and the family this month as we prepare to celebrate Christmas.. do not think about what great gift can i buy or what electronic should i ask for. but think in what way can i serve the Lord more.. How can i give more time and love  to him and to those around me. How can i make my friends feel worth something or how can i share my testimony's with some one that is struggling.. I know with all my heart that the Lord answers prayers and that he is with us in all that we do.. Be strong and Bold and kneel and pray and ask how can i share your gospel? How can i bring the light of Savior into someone else´s life.. And I know he will answer as he has recently done with our wonderful investigator Paulina..

November 19th Letter

Hey Everyone!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Wow I can{t that Thursday is Thanksgiving crazy!! I feel like we just started November.. It so hoooottt here I'm starting to die! So enjoy the beautiful snow for me.. I'm doing great here in Arica  we  are preparing for our two kids Sebastian and Paula,kids of a less active mother to be baptized Saturday which is great because the mom is now reactive.  We are completing this family in the gospel and I love it. We were in the church waiting for the people to show up and first were our engaged couple Gabriel and Paulina who are getting married on Saturday and then she will be getting baptized soon.. Then arrives our cute family Oreggo with Seba in nice new shirt and tie and Paula in a new dress.. They all arrived on time and dressed perfectly it was so great to see them all there with joy in their eyes. We had our Principle de Evangelio class full of converts and invest and an amazing member teaching.. Ah I love Sundays like this. In the after we stopped by Grace who is now fully active and we could just feel the spirit in here home the moment we walked in. She has grown in her testimony so much. We gave he the Relief Society daughters in my kingdom book and she loved it... She began to cry of joy and testifies more of her experience .. its been so great to be with her in every step returning to this gospel.. This is another moment in which i am truly blessed to watch.

 I have been trying to focus every moment that i can here in the field in on the people. Its hard with only weeks left in the mission to know that on December 18, 2012 I will be able to be back with you all.  I have been trying to not be "trunky" which iswhen missionaries think all about the home which does pass my mind every so often. Especially when ending a lesson and our investigators or the members begin to pray for each of you . It makes me feel truly blessed that i have been able to gain the confidence and love of so many people here that speak a different language and have a different culture that they remember about me and my wonderful family in their prayers. We have a great investigators that starts each prayer with " heavenly fathers were all here your children  Ashley, john. sister Burnett and sister cram"(names changed) Ah its so precious, because they are truly praying from their heart nothing memorized that which sometimes happens to us as members.  This work is truly wonderful the work of the Lord is great. He truly loves each and everyone of us and wants the very best for us. He wants to become Gods and Goddess and to complete every goal that we have.. He is with each of us every day waiting to help us. And the way we may receive his help and guidance is through sincere prayers with a lot of faith. I challenge you all to become more humble and give more prayers on your knees learn to give the Lord time every morning and evening to hear your voice and to help you with your problems and give you many blessings. I love you each and know with all my heart this Gospel of Jesucristo is true and that he is our Savior!!!

November 5th Letter

So this week I meet up with all the missionaries that are leaving this cambio all 27!!! there were so many of us and 9 sisters crazy huh!! We had a really great week here in Costanera .. We were able to find new investigators through less active members and converts. It was a beautiful Sunday yesterday with 113 people in church!!! and we started at 9:30 am ah so early!!! I have been able to feel the spirit so strong in each house here, I love it. It helps me to testify stronger which helps people progress a lot more faster in the this gospel. We found some great news this week so it well be great to watch them grow. One of our cute Less active member a  young mother of 2 stood up and bore her testimony for the first time in 13 years . She was glowing with the light of Christ and is moving much closer to the Lord. Watching her grow and change testifies to me on why i am here and why the Lord needs so many more missionaries.. And members doing visiting teaching.

 Arica is great we live right on the beach and get to run in the sand every day.. The city is really relaxed and the people are pretty nice. A lot of the houses here are closed in which is hard to contact. I'm loving every day with my cute little companion. She is so great and happy every day which keeps me going because my body is dying a little.

October 29th Letter

Hey Fam and Friends!!!

Are you all excited for HALLOWEEN!!! boooooo!!! hahahahah ( my witch laugh) I hope you all are because I dont get to celebrate it again ;( so enjoy it and take lots of pictures!!!  

Anyways so i completed my first week here in Arica with cute Hermana Cram... She is so great and Tiny!!! literally she is smaller then Hna Gonzalez which I have no idea how!!! She is 4´11´ and wears size 2 shoe and I'm of course totally opposite at 5´10 is and size 12 shoe hahaha.. But her heart is huge and she has the greatest laugh ever i am surely enjoying every minute with her.. Hna Chen is also here my good friend from Guatemala her companion hna Santos from Honduras.. Its so great here we have a wonderful ward and bishopric and a great zone... 

We found out the other day that Pasual our investigator with a baptism date for Nov 3 is here now and will be leaving Thursday but he really wants to get baptized before he leaves... so we hurry and start throwing together talks and making the program and looking for clothes for the baptism for the next day.. Pascual Ortiz was baptized Saturday at 7;00pm by his son Fabio who is a recent convert (aug) and at his baptism were 2 recent convert families there to give support. It  was one of the most spiritual baptism i have seen through out my mission.. He was so excited to be baptized and was almost running to the baptism font.  Its moments like this that remind me why I am here and why I have chosen to give only a little bit of my time to help some one else's family become united forever... The wife and her two boys where baptized in August and last week the daughter and Saturday the dad.. now they are only missing one kid.. how neat right!!! Now we are preparing them to go to the temple next year!!!! ah how great 

is this family.. Last night we also found another family that said they want to go to church and to become more closer with God.

And the other day I did contact with Hna Chen and we found a family of 5 and she said they showed up to church yesterday and that the dad is excited to have another lesson that he mentioned  ´ no, not that day cause i wont be here how about Thursday´. ah how beautiful right!!! This work is amazing and i am so grateful to be here as an instrument in the Lords hand.. I am learning so many wonderful things from these people more then I thought I would. I challenge you all to keep reading the Book of Mormon to finish before December 18. hahah but truly and listen to the holy ghost because the Lord is waiting to use you as an instrument in his work..

October 22nd Letter

Hey Family and friends!!! 

 So we had the baptism of Catalinna on Saturday!!! yeah!! after 4 months she was finally able to be baptized!!! it was so pretty and we had a lot of support from the members.. and I didnt over fill the font this time. hahaha...  Rosel is doing great and  preparing to receive the priesthood.  The ward here in Chañarcillo is great all really nice people and very caring.. One of YSA boy Fernando has been working a lot with us as he prepares for his mission in january... Which is great cause we can definitely can feel a differences in the lessons when we are working with a member.. The spirit is stronger because there is another person testifying how the gospel is part of their life with work or school, unlike us missionaries sometimes. It was a great week especially when there are CAMBIOS!!!  So the cambios are here and the wheel of fortune has been spun and Hermana Burnett is off too..........ARICA!!!!!! The northest part of the mission with cutie Hermana Cram from Riverton UTAH!!!!! Wahooo!!! So Here i am after a 17 hour bus drive of all sand and hills but im here and its gorgeous!!! We live in an apartment next to the BEACH!!! yeah and my compie likes to run so yeah !!!!! Hermana Cram will be my terminator.. so 8 weeks with her here in ARICA (a reek a)  Its going to be a great journey here as I complete the goals of the president and my own..

 CONGRATULATIONS SKYLER AND JESSICA!!! The photos of the wedding are beautiful!! It was soexciting to see pictures of everyone except DANIELLE BERRY!!! where are you!!! anyways congrats you two!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!! YOu and grandma look great!! im so happy to hear and see that you had a great birthday and that all your children where able to be there!!! Love you tons grandpa!!!

October 15th Letter

hey familia  y amigas,

After a hectic week  and running around we were able to have a beautiful baptism of Rosel Reyes he is the husband of a member who is from Cuba.. Crazy huh.. He was living in a country where he had no rights and now he is working, using Internet and  cell phones and learning about our beautiful Gospel . He went to work Saturday the day of his baptism and told his boss he couldnt work late because today he is getting baptized.  :) While we were waiting for his father in law to get there to baptize him i went to check on the font and there was water all in the hallway.. i began to run and yelling " obsipo , agua esta saliendo" hahahah the whole room was covered with water. So we spent a good 30 mins cleaning up the water..hahah there is a first for everything right..  The baptismal service was very small with family only  and one investigator but very beautiful.  It was a beautiful day and has been a long time since i have been able to see something so spiritual and great.. I love  this work so much  and am so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this great change in Rosels´life.The other night we went to visit a less active and luckily all of her family was there in which they each began to have more confidence in us to share all of their feelings. one of the sisters  drove us home and in the car began to cry and share how much she was struggling and didnt know what to do..  it was so amazing to see how much power we  have as missionaries in that the people want to share everything and anything with us.  Im so  very grateful for this time to be serving and to have seen the lord ´s hand in his work here in Chañarcillo. I loved the talk by Elder Russell M. Nelson  Ask the Missionaries! They Can Help You!  It was so true everything he mention we as missionaries use to do contacts.. I love this time here in Chile and for the opportunity to be a representative of The Lord and to help bring people into his kingdom..  Im getting nervous at my time comes to an end here. But I know the Lord will help me continue forward focused in all that he wants me to do..

October 8th Letter

 Hi family and friends!!!!

 Okay so gmail is being dumb.. i promise i have been writing every week!!!! So this week was great!!! The Trio here in Chanarcillo is rolling well. I believe and know its because we had 3 days of divisions starting with our great sister assistants which helped so much!! they gave us a little up beat speech before we started and it truly brought the spirit!! hna gonzalez and i are finding ourselves laughing more and giving nicknames to each other like Corazon chicko or amor and secretly writing post notes and hiding them in each others books....  Hna Garbin and I are also laughing more and writing secret notes but i think im a little to crazy for her some times.. :)Im learning to love this work more and to be more outward focus as i have only a little more time here in Chanarcillo.. Conference was amazing especially listening to it in english helped!!! it was a very spiritual weekend. I loved all the talks in their own way  Especially the Profeta}s he is so great. and the family history!! ah i cant wait to get back and do temple work!!!. I was also able to see so many of my old ward members and gives hugs which was great... We are preparing the baptism of Rosel this weekend so this will be a fun and trying to make the record of 90 people in church in which two weeks ago we had 82.. the weather here is super hot and am melting... hopefully i}ll be a little brown when i get back which i received my flight plans today !!! freaky!!! ah where has the time gone!!!

October 1st Letter

AH THIS WEEK I COMPLETED 15 MONTHS in the MISSION!!! Ah CRAZY!!!

 AND now Jake is going to be leaving in January!! Wow this Glade Berry family is shipping missionaries out left and right!! Hahaha congrats Jake!!!!! 

 Wow this week was a crazy rollercoaster of feeling in which all went downhill on Saturday,, Our investigator called at 11 and said I’m sick I can´t get baptized today in which is the same excuse she used last week.. Oh my and then all our other investigators didn’t want to go to church or couldn’t... so Sunday at 3:30 am we start calling everyone in the world to wake them up and to tell them we will be passing by to pick them up and I was getting rejected over and over… ah so sad… however the positive of this week is we had 12 less active and converts. And we had 82 people in church which has been the highest in many months… we had some very good spiritual lessons and booked ysa girls to do divisions with us this week.. I’m super excited for that!! And plus general conference!!!! Yay!! 8 hours of spiritual uplift and bonus hour of women conference yay!!!!  With my two companions mentioned that on the schedule it says companion prayer in the morning and night before personal... crazy ive never noticed or have done them and now has we do them together we have the spirit stronger and are more united!!! I’m so thankful for PRAYERS!!!

September 24th Letter

Hey everyone!!!
 We had a great Independence party here 18th! So here are the fotos..
This week we worked  we were able to have a big 3 way intercombios in
which we were able to visit a lot of people in one day.  We also were
able to find some new great people to teach and had 4 investgators at
church!!! Ah it was a great feeling with 7 converts and menos activos…
so  we had a nice big principle evangelio class.. one of our new
investagators teresa was so happy after the class. That she told us
she will talk to her boss so that she come to church every Sunday..
this was here reaction after the first time.. how great!!! Ah moments
like this is why i love the misión…  Its starting to get warm here
again so im using a lot of sunscreen so i dont get marks ah the
weather here is crazy.. Sorry its short, but sweet with tons of fun

September 17th Letter

HEY FAMILIA!!!

¡¡¡¡ FELIZ 18 de SEPTIEMBER!!!!  Fiestas!!!!

Ah today we celebrated Independence Day here with a member. Oh my, I ate sooooooooo much!!!!! And only because I’m a missionary because I said no and then he looked at me with eyes of disappointment because he prepared a lot of meat and oh my.. So being Hermana Burnett, I said yeah I´ll have carne but only a little bit.. So I’m confiding in you all my secret of how much food I ate today. I ate a choripan, empañada, chicken, pork, and potato salad and then the steak... ah.. I couldn’t move….  But this is the life of a missionary eat what the members prepare and don’t say no. because then they are offended… So this was our first week as a trio and it was  a little hard but we found a bunch of new people to teach and that have real desire to learn… Nidia showed up to church all alone!!! It was the best surprise ever!! She loved all the classes and is reading in Alma 9 now.. How neat.. Ah moments like this make me so grateful to be doing the lords work… Sergio and Angelica are doing great.. I love this matrimony couple so much.. I feel the spirit so strong each time in their home  that I ended up crying… literally every single time…!!! Ah the Lord work is great and even better when we work with the members.. So keep serving the missionaries in your wards and sharing your testimony or being a great example to those around you because some one is always watching you as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ!!!

September 10th Letter

Hola  Family and Friends,

 So Sister Canto is finally gone and what adventure that was. Terminating a missionary is hard work and I'm a little glad its over. Hermana Canto is a great person and Im super excited to have been with her twice..  With her gone that means that Im going to have a new compie , right.. Well since President bruce is crazy im going to have TWO  compies... yep another TRIO,I am super surprised ,but excited...  This will be good for me to get refocused on the Lord´s work and to help our investigators progress. Im going to be with Hermana Garbin( Peru) and Gonzales(Argentina) they both seem to be really great missionaries and were companions in the MTC... i am of course nervous that I won´t be all that they expect and that I´ll let them down, however I know with prayers and a lot a faith everything will work out. 

We had Stake Conference the other day and all of our investigators bailed on us .. ah it was the worse feeling ever to prepare mentally and to have members ready to meet each of them and then they dont show up because they are sick or just dont contest the phone,... however we were able to go with Georgina and Jorge which are two recent converts and on the way our mamita and papito passed by and took us in auto.. Our papito received the priesthood yesterday it was so great.. He was so happy and nervous all morning... The conference was will done and was about the book of mormon and how we should always be preparing for the temple. . President Diaz shared that if we read 3 pages of the book of mormon every day that we could finish the book by nov 28.. perfect.. cause that is my goal .. so i challenge you all to do so for my birthday present , so i wont be there this year.. listo!!!

 After the conference we found out that 2 of our investigators weRe there and we didnt even know it .. how exciting..

September 3rd Letter

Hola Familia y Amigos

HAPPY LABORS DAY!!! You Lucky Ducks!!! hahaha

 So this week was GREAT!! We were able to find some really great new people to teach , a Family actually. And the mom is a less active (Luisa)!! Perfect. So we taught her and her 2 kids this week and invited them to our Ward Movie Friday night to see 17 miracles. The day before we find out the church doesn't have  electricity because Santiago forgot to pay. So we are freaking out cause everyone is super excited to attend the activity and we don't want to change the day so we are praying that will have electricity that night.. Friday in the Morning we had amazing Conference with President Bruce and Sister Bruce. they both are so spiritually strong and gave great talks about the importance of planning and how the vision of the mission has changed to focus more on baptizing and being stronger missionaries like Ammon. It was one of the strongest and spiritual conferences that I have had in a long time.. We begin reading Alma 17\18  and sharing how we need to change the way we think about our sectors and love every moment in each sector and that  we are the only ones with the power in our areas.. Ah read ALMA 17 its so great!!! 

    Hermana Bruce shared how we need to plan better and specifically for each person including those members . We need to be more detailed and take care of our people. Because each number we report represents a person. Each person is a Child of God. Always remember this..

    So back to the story Friday night comes and we HAVE ELECTRICITY!!! Yay!! So We attend the activity with the kids and there at the church Sergio is waiting, our other HOT, FIRE, GOLD Investigator. And during the movie, he would look at me after each miracle with the face of , really.. wow.. He loved it and cried and wants his wife to see it.. YAY for great Church movies.. Saturday is great too and then comes 10:30pm and we are getting ready for bed when the phone rings and Im thinking its the elders calling for numbers . When Hna Canto is making noise and saying ´¨Si, okay SI ¨when after she mentions Luisa our Less active called and says¨my daughter wants to talk¨Hola Hermanas, Hey i want to come to Church with you tomorrow , me and my cousin.!!! ( she 15 years old) AH AH!!! YAY  We begin to scream and dance .. What 15 year old calls and invites them selves to church!!! our AWESOME INVESTIGATORS!!! YAHOO!!! Anyways, being here people turn off the phones at night so we couldn't get a hold so we run to other side of town at 9:20 am and knock her door and she said yeah, im coming!! yeah!!!

   Another One of our investigators Karina, opened up and said I know the Book of Mormon is true and Jose Smith. This story is to beautiful and strong to be fake. And her mother came in the room and shared a dream that she once had of Jose Smith!! she has so many great questions.. Karina told Hna, Canto¨YOu have broken my black heart¨  ah so sweet.. 

  Ah I love this work and am trying so hard to be the best missionary i can with what little time i have left. Its so great here and there is so much work to do!!!

August 27th Letter

Hi Everyone,

 So this week we were able to finally fine some new people to teach, hopefully they can feel the spirit in the lessons so that we can help them receive this gospel. We had a wonderful lesson with Sergio and Angelica. They are some great christian that  live by the words of the Bible and truly believe in everything that we do, however don´t realize that we have the authority of God again here on the Earth thanks to our wonderful Profeta Jose Smith. This lesson that we teach all the time is so strong because so many people don't realize that Christ lives and that he blessed us with another living prophet today!!!  How blessed are we to be apart of this Gospel . To be Saints of Christ here preparing to be with our Heavenly Father and Jesucristo again. And most important to be with our families para Siempre!!!  We are truly blessed.. 

I was able to teach our Principles class yesterday about Profetas and our Recent Convert was truly surprised and happy to know that today we have a man called of God here to direct in the path of Christ.. It was a very strong and spiritual class.  I hope that you all can remember that we are blessed to have Profeta Thomas S. Monson as a president and that he is able to guides us with his great 12 Apostles . Make sure to do all you can to pray for them, to keep the commandments and to continue to read the talks we receive in the Ensign. Make sure to be active in your callings and the most important to Love One Another..

 Hermana Canto and I have have been doing great together. Running every morning probably more of a jog. haha and Learning to love, laugh and Live every day to the fullest. She isnt Trunky which is good because I find myself more trunky then her some days.. hahah

August 20th Letter

Hola Familia y Amigas,

 

So this week we worked hard at doing really casual and confident contacts. Making sure that during the 30 first seconds we gave our very best impression. We are trying to focus more on them and not even mention our names. So its been a little tough to not say ¨Hola, soy Hermana Burnett y ella es my compañera Hermana Canto¨.. This sentence is forbidden... So our first few contacts there was a lot of awkward waiting and silence on who was going to speak next .. But with time we got the hang of it and entered some really great homes were we shared a short sweet lesson and put appointments to come back. wahoo. That's called a new investigator and we need 10 each week.. So I am trying to better at this making contact oh -Hi I like your car its nice, how many kids do you have ¨and so forth... One of our families is progressing so much . The 11 year old read her reading assignment twice!! how cute!!! right..The only thing holding them back is Sundays they get caught up with heading to the beach:( dumb beach, ..Anyways we have faith that this Sunday is there day!!! We did a great contact Saturday

 Yeah she didnt even ask our names or what we were doing. I ended up helping the little girl with English  and Canto with help the brother with his math.. The homework had the word Ladybird aka Ladybug.. So I told her Chinita is Ladybug and she kept repeating ladybird cause that is what the teacher had. hahaha

 

I was able to go with a member to Jumbo and buy some Bomers(crocs) cause this is the only place that sold my size the biggest here is like a 9 or if your lucky a 10.. Im hoping my shoes last
