Second grade Teacher

A few days after school started

My Monster themed classroom

After applying for jobs all summer and not hearing anything back from schools I was happy  enough with just going back to Sharon to be an aide. I had put confidence in the Lord that was the place where he wanted me. Then Thursday August 15, 2013 I received a phone call at 7:30 am about a second grade position. So I threw on a skirt and ran to the school and had an interview at Orem Elementary where I believe it went very well. The principal there is Sister Meline's  older sister Rachelle so I felt comfortable  during the interview. That day I went on as nothing happened to receive another job interview call for Friday morning.
After that interview in Highland I was talking to my mom that they both felt good and it will just be up to the Lord where I should go. I then at 3:30 pm received a phone call at Shopko from Rachelle that  Orem would like to offer the second grade teaching position to me. I began to cry and feel unreal that I had been chosen. I hurried and ran to the school and met  with  Rachelle and she keep telling me how impressed she was with my response to the interview questions. She gave me keys to the school and my classroom and introduced me to meet my team Laura Giles, Debbie Cram, and Bridgette Funk . I am so grateful and so very full with joy to be teaching right now and so close to home. I am grateful for how the Lord works and am so glad that I have put all my trust into him. Let the journey begin at Orem Elementary as a second grade teacher of 24 students in two days.

Flowrider

My Millrace ward was having a closing social at Lindon Aquatic center so I couldn't give up a free pass to go swimming .I went with the gang in which they dared me to do the Flowrider. It was hard, however I was able to stand for about 15 seconds, here is the evidence.

High Heels

Megan and I bought some fancy heels and made a commitment to wear them out to dinner  before she left on her mission. However Megan got super busy and we didn't get the chance to wear them. So I finally brought them out for church and I love them so much!!! Yay for high heels and Payless!!
