Today I finally completed my goal of hiking the "Y", I don't know why it has taken me forever it was a really nice and easy hike. This is a goal that I just kept putting to the back of my mine.  I was lucky enough to hike it with a few girls from the ward which made it an adventure. 

Boating

The last couple of weeks I have been receiving text from my friend Dave Williams to go boating,  however these text have come at the most random times like " Hey were leaving in five minutes want to come", while I am at the gym or during the first week of school "Hey we are leaving at noon" which is just cruel. haha Anyways I was able to get one more time out on the boat were I was able to learn how to wake board which was pretty exciting.

Ogden Temple

Bishop and Sister Patton brought the Northridge YSA ward to Ogden for the temple open house. So I took the frontrunner up to Ogden to meet them. It was a beautiful temple with the most gorgeous artwork I have ever seen. It was a fun day to see the Pattons, Jana Ward,Tina Nielsen and a few others from when I was there.

As a faculty at Orem Elementary we went to lunch and then to a Creativity Art Studio  to do some artwork and bonding. I was super excited sit with these girls so that I could get to know them better, I know this year is going to be another great one because of them.

Allergy Test

So I decided to finally get an allergy test to receive real data about what I am allergic too. Come to find out I am allergic to about everything outdoor including Bermuda grass, cows, horses, cats, dog and many more different trees and grasses!  It feels good to finally know just exactly what makes me sneeze and itch. Now the question is do I take drops once a day  at about $160 every three months?

Language Art Class

I took a Language Art class at the University of Utah this week. It was a great reminder of allowing more creativity into my  classroom and learning to teach more to the individual student. These are self portraits that we made on the first day with the directions of glue, scissors and paper nothing else. It was hard at first, but they all turned out great. I did this with my kids and they were upset at first to do this  activity, but they turned out wonderful!!

Harry Potter's Birthday

I am not a huge Harry Potter fan,but I know that my BFF Megan is so I went in honor of her while she is still out on the mission to celebrate Harry.

We stopped at Ella's Deli which was a fabulous family restaurant with tons of puppets hanging through out the building.  This restaurant even had a carousel that we were able to ride for free

Cave of Mounds

           After three years I decided it was time to go and visit my Uncle Jason and Aunt Kendra in Wisconsin. So I booked a 9 day trip to have some fun with them and their kids Sheldon (10) and Claire (7). I am blown away with how green and country it is here. I love the big fields of corn,wheat, and the beautiful farm homes. The house they live in is cute and older with tons of character. When we drove into their town we passed a Piggly Wiggly, just like off the "Win a date with Tad Hamilton" movie. After seeing that store I knew this trip was going to be a blast! The first day head to a The Cave of Mounds which was a very neat underground cave that was very long and narrow. We went to many baseball games for our great Sheldon who  ended up winning his tournament.

Since I don't excited about Triathlons,  I decided that I would be a good person and volunteer for our Stake Triathlon. So I woke up super early around 6:30 am on a Saturday during the summer to help the racers and got a little excited about the race, but I don't think excited enough to participate in one.
