Another Book!!

So I finished another book on my way home to Utah and it was the cutest book ever!! It is called Soul-Searching and it was just so adorable in every way!! This book shared the importance of change, growing, forgiving and love of course. So now I have read three books this year and only have one left to go which I think I'll accomplish more. I finished my last spring semester with a 3.12 GPA which isn't to bad. I have 12 units to go and then I will receive my BS !! wahoo!

Batter Up!!

Belle, Kalia, Me
Me, Jami, Sommer, Kalia and Belle

So I went to young single adult (YSA) dance on Friday and it was so much fun except I took a break and ate smores during the dance which really upset my stomach so I couldn't dance for the last hour, but anyways I had a great time because dancing is so much FUN!!! The next night girls from the ward invited me to a batting cage which I had never done so I was excited to cross this off my bucket list.It was awesome experience it took me awhile to get rhythm ,but I hit a few good ones! It really hurt my hands though I wish someone told me that I needed gloves. Its all good though I had a really great weekend, yay summer vacation :)

Baptism!!

So today I was able to attend the baptism of Helen an investigator that I helped teach lessons too. It was an awesome experience she was glowing so much and couldn't stop smiling even while she was being dunked in the water. The missionaries told me that they know that Helen decided to be baptized because of my influence. I was so surprised to hear this that I had that big of an influence on someone that I have known only a few months. The bishop also told me that he can tell a huge difference in how I have taken charge and been so involved in the gospel. I have really enjoyed being here and the callings that I have in my ward. I know now that California was the right choice for me to grow and learn. Even though volleyball wasn't all that I wanted, I'm here to strengthen my testimony of this gospel and do family history.

MISSIONARIES!!

So I have been the third wheel with the missionaries as they've been teaching lessons and it has got me thinking should I go on one? I don't know if I'm ready yet. I have enjoyed the spirit the lessons bring and feel like a different person because I've been so involved with church activities. Just a thought, what do you think? p.s. Here's are pictures of the Elders I've been with Bradbury and Scott.

Busy Girl

So it has been four months since I made the goal to attend the temple every month which I successfully have done!! I also have been busy officiating 4th graders and 8th grader girls volleyball and its the best job ever!! I have two test left and one paper which means only ONE semester left till I get my BS !!! I also have been tagging along with the missionaries of our ward and helping them teach lessons to this investigator. This experience is so neat and reaffirms the gospel to me every time the elders teach. I'm so grateful that I have been able to help them and in return they have been really helping my testimony grow more!!
