Prom

Me and Ashley

The train

Me, Kristie, Mom

At school today all the students were so excited about that evening because it was PROM. They all kept dancing all through out the day and asking if I was going. Being a dance I couldn't resist so I went to my cousin's home and borrowed a big yellow dress, which made me feel as if I was 18 years old again!! The students were so fun to watch they were dancing all over the place and didn't care who was watching. We did the boot scootin and boogie, the train, and  many more fun dances.

ATEC

After 3 months of fun in Cedar City it was time for me to move back up to Pleasant Grove after my mission call. I moved back the weekend of Conference after applying to 25 jobs or so in the Alpine School District. I finally received a call from my mother's work Alpine Transition & Employment Center (ATEC) asking  me to come in for an interview. ATEC is a place where they have all varieties of  Mentally and Physically and Learning disabilities students and adults. ATEC provides jobs for the adults and helps the students transition into the work force and community. It took two weeks after my interview, but I was HIRED!  I love this job, I 'm a SUBSTITUTE AID which allows me to work in many different classrooms allowing me to meet all the students. I also get to work with the adults in their job areas. I have enjoyed my two weeks here very much, I mean how can I not when my first day we went to the movie theaters to watch "Mars needs Moms".

Escalante

Mi Familia

Devils Garden

The Gang

Slot Canyon

The girls

This year for spring break my family and the Berry's decided to head to Escalante this year. I was super excited because I had heard so many fun stories about it when my family went  a few years ago without me. This year was awesome because Roland was able to be there  making this a complete family spring break unlike many years before. We arrived Friday and went to Devils Garden where there are these random pillars in the middle of no where. The next day we went to the Slot Canyon were the rocks had been molded around running waters making a tight squeeze to fit through them all.

April 13th 2011

Today I was able to go through the Mt. Timpanogos Temple for the first time with my Mom and  family members and special friends. It was a neat spiritual experience and I'm so thankful for all those who helped me prepare for this day. I can't wait to go and share this experience with other family and friends in the Los Angeles Temple. I am so grateful for this beautiful day and the chance I had to share with so many people that I LOVE .

Hermansen Brothers

Cannonball

Natural water slides
The girls and I decided we all need to go on a hike before I move back to P.G. so we invited the Hermansen brothers to be our tour guide. Lucky enough the day was warm making the hike more fun. We climbed up boulders, walked through pools of water up to our knees and did cannonballs into pools of water and climbed trees. It was a day full of great adventure especially with these Hermansen brothers who make everything ten times more fun. I'm so glad I was able to do this trip it was so pretty and a great way to end my time in Cedar City.
