A day out in Cedar Fort

We headed out to Cedar Fort today to celebrate Fathers Day with Grandpa Berry and it so happened that Aunt Susan and Matt are here visiting also. It was a wonderful but warm Sunday at Grandpas which has no A/C. We had yummy fajitas for dinner and then while everyone watched a movie, Susan and I went to the cemetery to visit and water the grounds. It was a fun day as I was able to visit Susan for the first time after the mission.

Josh Turner

Best Concert Ever, Josh Turner!!! Oh my I love this guy's voice so much!!! Especially in the song "I'm Your Man" and " Why don't we just dance" (which was his encore song, the one I was waiting for all night, I almost freaked when he left the stage before singing it) . I arrived there around 6:00 pm cause I knew the line to get in would be crazy and I'm glad I did because right after me everyone else showed up and it was hot. I got in, running trying to find an area to place our blankets all by myself which was not the best idea ever. However it all worked out well. It was a wonderful night spent with my baby brother Hayden and Megan. Did I mention that Danielle got us two free tickets so I paid $15 for the night! Ah I love my BFC she is awesome.

Mini MCA Reunion

me, MacIver, Montandon and Romney

My trainer from the mission called me yesterday wanting to meet up at Zupas for a small reunion. So after the parade I ran over to Zupas on state in Orem which I thought was funny to meet at since it was far for everyone that was living in Provo. I get there and meet Montandon who is my grandma in the mission and few other random elders that served before me. We wait for twenty mins when I finally call MacIver to see where she is at and she tells me she is in Provo waiting for us. They went to the wrong place. haha  So we weren't able to visit long because I had work at two but it was great to see Caitlin and Romney to girls that I served with in Chile.

Strawberry Day Parade

Berry Gang

Amanda and Me

I woke up early today not knowing what time the parade officially started and headed over to the Berry's home for the only Strawberry day event I could attend. We had some great seats in front of the church where my Uncle Zane was the MC for the parade. He made the parade a lot more fun with his comments "look here are the greatest cheerleaders ever go P.G." or " here we have Wild Mustang  grill and baker" haha  "oops i mean grill and bakery" . We then stopped at Taco Amigos to eat and socialized in our camping chairs outside because they were so busy.

Trafalga and Tattoos

Taylor and Chad's Tattoos

Chad Harker from our 11 apartment came down from SLC  to visit so we went out to dinner at Red Robins in which we purchased some great dragon tattoos from the vending machines. We then used our Pass of all Passes and headed to  Trafalga for a late night of golfing and a 3D  roller coaster ride. When we arrived home we all put on our tattoos on our lower back like all the cool people do. It was hilarious cause Taylor was the first to go and loved his Chinese Dragon tattoo, but then became jealous over how shining Chad's tattoo turned out. I also received a lizard one and Whitney and Danielle T. put one on also. haha It was a very amusing night.

Two Temples Tuesday

I drove to Megan's work today to help her pack up some school items. We then headed over to the Oquirrh Temple for our first time and it was beautiful. We even received a full tour of the sealing rooms and children's waiting room upstairs. I love this temple so much and can't wait to go through it again. After our session we grabbed some yummy Buffalo Bill wings and received some energy to head to Jordan River Temple for a sealing session. It was a very strong and spiritual day with a wonderful best friend. I am so grateful  for all these amazing temples that I am surrounded by here in Utah. P.s. This is  the same day Danielle sent me a Snap Chat of Michael Buble coming to Utah in which I freaked out and screamed in Megan's classroom in front of her colleagues. And then at lunch Megan surprised me with the fact she was getting me Buble tickets for my birthday. What an amazing Best Friend I have!!!

Father's Day Fiesta

All the Mexican short dad and a Catholic Father with my dad!!

For Father's Day Roland and I headed up to SLC bringing Dallen along for dinner and games with dad. Little did I know that Roland would have dad under the hood of his truck first for about a hours worth. Which was all good since Dallen and Roland were so happy fixing up his new truck. I finally got them to stop and we went inside and played pick up sticks and Parachess which is our favorite game. These games didn't last too long before we were all starving so we headed next door for a fiesta. Our neighbors are Mexican so they had a big BBQ with a mechanical bull and pinatas and real tequila(which we didn't drink) for us all. haha It was a great relaxed day with my wonderful Dad and brothers.
 Happy Father's Day Dad!!!

Utah Summer Games

Me, Brooke, Megan, Marli, Kat, and Courtney

I was able to go down south to Cedar City with Megan and Brooke to play in the Utah Summer Games. We were able to be sponsored by The Little Brick House which meant only paying $50 for gas and the uniform.  We played 11 matches in two days which were all back to back taking 4th place. It was great playing at this competitive level  against many Alumni players. I was able to see Talita Santos and play with Marli Langford and of course  see my favorite family the Youngs.  I stayed with them which was a blast.  Joe had to show off on his scooter and  Isaac gave me the biggest Welcoming hug ever he was so excited to see me. It was a wonderful weekend of family, volleyball, fireworks, and old friends.

Provo Temple

Katie invited Megan and I to attend the temple with her after her 9:00 am shift at the MTC so we got up early and went and did a wonderful sealing session. We then headed to Magleby Restaurant in the convertible so Katie could get her free birthday lunch. In which our waiter who was cute decided to take off his wedding ring secretly while waiting on us.

Northridge Elders

Kim, Trent, Devyn, Drew, Chase and Me

After being home from the mission I met up with Drew Bradbury and shared my mission stories and also heard that he was getting married.  I then was on BYU campus two months later and ran into Chase Hessing in which was the first time since 2010 when he was still on his mission. And then ONE week later I run into Trent Scott right in front of my house the last of the great elders that reactivated me and inspired me to serve a mission. It was so crazy on how  the Lord put them each in my path. I finally took control to set up dinner which happened today at Applebee's with Hessing being my date.  I am so thankful for each of these young men and for their desire to serve because they truly blessed my life.
Thanks  Bradbury,Scott, and Hessing.
