The spirit

I know, I know that it has been three whole months since I have written anything down and I am super sad because I have had so many wonderful blessings happen in my life. So I am going to start with today and then try to back blog as much as I can. I just got home from the Relief Society broadcast and it was beautiful. I can't believe how amazingly our Father in Heaven works through other people. I was able to go with wonderful roommates of mine Ruth Anne and Whitney  and take a hour of may day to be filled so fully with the spirit. President Monson spoke exactly about what I needed to hear. How I am a daughter of  God and he is always there waiting to hear from me joy, gladness, sadness or anger he is there. I am so grateful for this Gospel and to have General Conference around the corner has been wonderful blessing in store.

Today was the BYU vs Utah game and I didn't have any blue so I wore white allowing me to be natural to both teams. :)  It was a good game  however we sadly loss 13-20.

Teacher pet

Here are some  few gifts that I have received. The top was made from my student Ember who is a teacher pet. The middle drawing was made by my student  Anna.  And the banner below was also made by Ember, she placed small drawings of the monsters that we have in our classroom.

New Cougar fan

So today I decided to join the BYU fan wagon. I headed with Natalie and her family to the BYU vs Texas A& M for my first college football game ever. As we were walking the clouds decided to rain on us, I mean pour. The wind was strong and the rain soaked us completely. So we hid in a laundry room of the apartments across the street. Then we decided to head back to  Millrace and put all of our clothes in the dryer because we were soaking wet. After waiting 30 minutes we headed back to the field and watched the game just fine with a only a bit of light rain.  BYU 40-21
