            Sheldon and Roland

Me and Heavenly
Me, Grandpa, and Roland

Roland, Grandpa, and Dad
This weekend my dad, Roland, and I drove down to San Bernardino, California to have a family reunion. It was long drive, but definitely worth it. I was able to meet up with my Uncle Jason and his wife Kendra and their children for the first time in four years. His family is so adorable I fell in love with his daughter Claire instantly all over again. The next day we headed to Disneyland which was Sheldon and Claire's first time. They had a great time, but sure did cry a lot after the rides. Roland fell in love with Sheldon, this little kid thought that Roland was the coolest person ever. The next day we went roller skating with all my little cousins, which was a blast. That evening we all got together at a pizza parlor and took family pictures. I had the chance to meet my cousin's wives and children for the first time. I fell in love with my cousin Cherie daughter Heavenly who is 18 months, ah I love her tons and wanted to bring her back to Utah with me so bad.  That evening I also experienced my first time in a bar with my dad and his siblings which was hilarious. I played pool at the first one and sang karaoke (really badly) at the next bar. That Sunday was very relaxed and full of food and family. Did I mention that I got to share a bed with my grandma in a room full of boxes which I thought would fall on top of me!! It was a great weekend and very much needed I love the Burnett family and can't wait to have another big family reunion!!

Party Like a ROCKSTAR

Megan

Anne

Annie

Tylar, Marli and Megan

Being new to Cedar, Megan and I decided to throw a ROCKSTAR Party at her house. So we set up the Rock Band game on one television and Sing Like a Star on another one and got all dressed up.  Sadly to say the 16 people that responded on facebook kind of forgot about the party, making it a more of a get together with 8 people. Still Megan and I partied away in our outfits as we played Rock Band and chatted with the Annie's.

Hilary, Shalise, and Me

Mom, Sariah, and  Hilary

Halie and Danielle

Skyler, Bryce, and Amanda

For President's weekend I had the chance to celebrate my cousin Shalise's Birthday with everyone at Mimi's Cafe. Shalise was so excited it was her birthday and  showed it by wearing a crown  that Josi made. Shalise was recently very ill and had surgery on her gallbladder, luckily the procedure went well allowing her to have a wonderful birthday. Shalise is the sweets, nicest, and funniest person I know. Shalise is a great cousin and I am so glad that I was able to spend the weekend with her.

Tree Climbing

Joe and Max

We went for a walk today and Max was having a blast as he rode his bike all over trying to do cool jumps. As for Joe it took him a while to like the idea of being outside. Max decided that he wanted to climb the tree so I helped him up and then Joe wanted to go up but once up there he wanted to get down.

Happy Heart Day!!

My new ward CCU 7th

Megan and Marli

Dayne my Secret Admire

Dan my Valentine Kiss
To start Valentine's Day I went running and the first song to come on my Ipod was " All by myself, don't want to be all by myself". I almost started to cry way to start the day off Ipod, thanks. The rest of Valentines was pretty great I was able to go to my first combined ward FHE where we made valentine cards and did a cake walk and decorated cupcakes. I received a valentine from this kid in my ward named Dayne in which he asked me out. I met tons of new people and also received a kiss on the cheek. After FHE I helped my friend Marli deliver a secret valentine. That evening Megan, Marli, and I threw a single ladies party where we watched Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!!! I was shocked to find out that none of the girls had seen this movie which is CRAZY because this movie is a must see for all girls, so we watched it and all fell in love with Josh Duhamel!

Dancing with a broom

Meg Lapping up water like a dog

To celebrate Valentines early the Penthouse(Brooke,Tonya, Lexi, Britney, and Kylee) threw a girls party where formal attire was required. So Megan and I dressed up in our old prom dresses which brought back so many great memories!! Megan was crying as we got dress and I was laughing so hard because here I am 23 years old dressing up to go to an all girls valentines party. As we got there we found out that the only people that  could make it was us and the Pent girls = 7 girls!!! We had a candle light dinner and tried not to laugh as we wondered if this would be a fun night with such a small group. After dinner we went down stairs to play the game Girl Talk which Megan was sooooo excited for. Girl Talk is a game that was created in 1988 it is kind of like truth or dare. It gives you dare such as moving a coin across the floor using the nose. If you accomplish it you receive points if you don't want to do it you receive a ZIT STICKER!!  I was worried it would be lame with just the seven of us, but it turned out to be tons of FUN!! After the game we decided to have a dance off so we spilt into Pinks verse Colors where we came up with a dance to California Gurls!!

Isaac

We visited Saint George this weekend so I went shopping at Target with the boys while Mindy was teaching. After picking up some Valentine socks for Mindy, Isaac came around the corner saying " Tela we need to get these for mom". I started laughing so hard he was so serious and excited to pick  something out for mom. Ah I love this kid.

Hide and Seek

The weather was a high 50 today so I decided to bundled the boys up and take them outside for a bike ride. We went to the church across the street where Joe had a blast as he pushed himself across the parking lot, as for Isaac he wanted me to push him the whole way. We begin to play hide and seek which Isaac liked very much as he hid behind the trees, Joe was a little confused the whole time. It was fun until Isaac decided to actually hide and I started to freak out because I couldn't find him. He was behind this shed, but decided to move as I walked around the other side. Ah I totally panicked,  he on the other hand was laughing so hard when I found him.

Talent Show

Backstreet Boys and Mormon Intruders

Ben, Jared,Chris, Me, and Kim
Jon, Dan, Marli,  and Megan
Our ward was having a talent show sign up sheet going around Relief Society. Megan and I noticed that not many people had signed up so we signed up all of Megan's roommates. We forgot that the talent show was coming up so soon so the day of at 5:45p.m. we started to put together an act. Megan came up with this rap to go along with the Antoine Dodson interview. So we took this funny interview and changed it to an LDS version.

They're knockin on your door preachin bout Joseph Smith
Tryin to baptize so y'all need to

Hide your kids, Hide your wife
Hide your kids, Hide your wife
Hide your kids, Hide your wife
And hide your husband
Cuz they teaching everyone out here

You don't have to come and confess
We're lookin for you
We gon find you
We gon find you

So you can run and tell that and run and tell that
Homeboy,home, home, homeboy

You left a challenge and a prayer
You are so fun
You are really fun- for real

You are really really really really so fun

They're knockin on your door preachin bout Joseph Smith
Tryin to baptize so y'all need to
Hide your kids, Hide your wife
Hide your kids, Hide your wife
Hide your kids, Hide your wife
And hide your husband
Cuz they teaching everyone out here

We're lookin for you
We gon find you
We gon find you
So you can run and tell that and run and tell that, run and tell that
Homeboy,home, home, homeboy

It turned out really good everyone laughed a lot Marli was Antoine and Megan his friend. Kim and I were the missionaries trying to preach. Ours was the funniest till the last group went up which was all boy dancing to
" Larger then Life" by Backstreet Boys and they just topped every ones talent.

Arts and Crafts

I tried to be really crafty today with the boys so I decided to make puppets which Isaac thought was cool for  like 4 mins and then he decided that it was dumb. Luckily Joe was excited to make the puppets with me the whole time. I created a Lion and told Joe to put it on and he would roar everytime!!
