Tonight I had the chance to play tennis for the second time in my life and I struggled. I had a hard time figuring out how to use the racket and having patience. It  was good night though as we competed against Parker and Natalie (Hauns' cousin).

Hermana Reyes

I found out this week that my cute Chilean companion Hermana Camilla Reyes moved to Provo so her husband can attend the MBA program at BYU. So I set up a dinner date with this cute girl as soon as I could. We met at her house and ate delicious completos and spoke in Spanish the entire time! It was so neat to sit and have a conversation so deep in Spanish and understand every word, after being home from the mission for 2 1/2 years now. I am so excited to have this girl here in my life to continue this friendship and to practice my Spanish. Hermana Reyes is also pregnant so it will be a blast to watch her become a mother! I am so thankful for this girl and can't wait for our next adventure together!

Hauns:  " I have good news and bad" " The bad news is I broke the lid of your rice cooker,

 the good news is I brought rice from the Himalayas"!

Third year teaching!

I can't believe my third year of teaching is here!! I moved downstairs to a new classroom so that means a new theme!! I am so excited to be teaching third grade again and to be  here at Orem Elementary! This school is the BEST!!

H-DATE

House party in SLC = H-Date! We had mocktails, appetizer, lemon cake and danced. We then went outside to play croquet and then watched a movie on the roof! It was a spectacular night !

Brereton Eagle Scouts

Landon,Hannah, Jesse, Josh, Hauns, Kim and Jeff

Tonight I had the privilege of watching Landon (the youngest boy of the Brereton family) receive his Eagle Scout. It was a beautiful ceremony as I watched each sibling stand and share thoughts about Landon and how proud they are of him for receiving his eagle. It was a great night to watch a family this close stand and celebrate this achievement of the youngest sibling. It was a fabulous event to be apart of as all five Brereton men stood and saluted the flag as an Eagle Scout.

Graceland

So we made it to Graceland in time to see the planes, however not enough time to tour his house. So we visited the gift shop and a small timeline building about Elvis Presley. It was a lot of fun to be there during Elvis Presley week. We saw tons of fans and look a likes of The King walking around and performing.

Lisa Marie and Hound Dog II

My trip in Tennessee was coming to an end and I still hadn't visited Graceland (where Elvis Presley was from)which made my mom  angry. So Hauns and I made a quick trip to Graceland  and got the chance to see his private planes. It was such a fun atmosphere and exciting to be on the same plane that the King of Rock n' Roll use to fly. We learned that he had two planes Lisa Marie which was huge and Hound Dog II a smaller plane for quick flights. He had his seat belt latch made out of 14k gold and his bathroom sinks were also gold!

Mississippi River

Today I had the chance to see the Mississippi River and it was beautiful and large! It was great day in downtown Memphis.

Flying Fish

We went to Bass Pro Shop today and then went out to lunch at this great restaurant called Flying Fish. It was another fun outing with the Brereton gang.

F- DATE

Fishing= F-date! We went searching for a lake last night and found this great lake, but the rain was coming down too hard. So today we headed out again with Jesse and Lauren Brereton to catch some catfish for dinner. Hauns was our lucky fisherman for the day and caught a 14 inch catfish after many hours of waiting. It was a beautiful day here in Tennessee as I tried fishing for the second time ever.

Memphis Temple

Wednseday Temple trip in Memphis with the Brereton family. It was such a beautiful trip to the temple with a family were all the oldest children are endowed. I loved being able to go to a session with Hauns in his home town temple.
