Reindeer

So it has been three days of 23 butterflies and bunnies (kindergartners) from 8 to 5 and its fun, but very tiring. The little kids are so cute, but are a handful when it comes to changing into swimsuits.
Cute things from butterflies and bunnies!!
-Some of the girls have come up to me and called me "Reindeer" in their cute sweet voices instead of " Deer" and I think its so cute!!!

-Another kid ask if " I had a mom and whats her name so I said yes and that her name is Tawni " and the boy said " I have a mom too and her name is mommy".

- One of our boys always has a plumber crack when he's wearing his swimsuit its the cutest thing.

Anyways I'm enjoying my job very much and I'm so grateful for it!!

Deer?

I started my summer camp job training on Saturday which was a very long day. I learned a whole bunch of new camp songs and jumped up and down a lot. I also received a camp name which is Deer, I have no idea where it came from ,but its way better then elk or jack rabbit or pickle which a new girl received. ( Do you see the resemblance) I start more training tomorrow which I'm pretty excited about. This week I've been able to coach young girls at a volleyball summer camp which has been way fun and has been a blessing in disguise.

Tie Dye!

My Bulls Eye shirt

Areli and Jen

Sommer, Karen, Belle ,Helen, Kalia and Jami

One of my callings is Relief Society Meeting Coordinator so for this month we decided to tie dye shirts which was very fun because I haven't done this since the 6th grade. So here are a few pictures of the girls and my shirt :) I recommend this activity it is very easy and cheap just go to Michaels and buy a kit and comes with gloves and rubber bands and dye!

Utah Trip

dad and me at the movie

I went to Utah for a few weeks before coming back to California to work. I started the trip off with visiting my Aunt Susan and Uncle Mark in San Diego. I then drove up to Utah with them which was the longest drive ever. While visiting home I was able to spend a lot of time with my family. I was able to babysit my cute cousins Joe and Issac and their older brothers. I got to go swimming, hiked to a waterfall, have picnics and go to a food expo. I was also able to go see tons of movie with my family such as Letters to Juliet, Prince of Persia, Date Night, and Dear John. I also got to see a movie with my dad called How to train your Dragon which was by far the best movie I saw!!!! I went shopping and played Wii fit for the first time which was awesome. I then had to visit the doctor again because I had another sinus infection exactly the same time as last year . I  had my mole removed from my neck because the doctor noticed different colors on it. I  saw the play the King and I which was good and funny because a girl threw up on stage. hahah. And lastly I got to have dinner with a few of my old high school teammates which was fun. Overall I had a very eventful 3 weeks with my family and friends!! :)

Another Book!!

So I finished another book on my way home to Utah and it was the cutest book ever!! It is called Soul-Searching and it was just so adorable in every way!! This book shared the importance of change, growing, forgiving and love of course. So now I have read three books this year and only have one left to go which I think I'll accomplish more. I finished my last spring semester with a 3.12 GPA which isn't to bad. I have 12 units to go and then I will receive my BS !! wahoo!

The next night girls from the ward invited me to a batting cage which I had never done so I was excited to cross this off my bucket list.It was awesome experience it took me awhile to get rhythm ,but I hit a few good ones! It really hurt my hands though I wish someone told me that I needed gloves. Its all good though I had a really great weekend, yay summer vacation :)

Baptism!!

So today I was able to attend the baptism of Helen an investigator that I helped teach lessons too. It was an awesome experience she was glowing so much and couldn't stop smiling even while she was being dunked in the water. The missionaries told me that they know that Helen decided to be baptized because of my influence. I was so surprised to hear this that I had that big of an influence on someone that I have known only a few months. The bishop also told me that he can tell a huge difference in how I have taken charge and been so involved in the gospel. I have really enjoyed being here and the callings that I have in my ward. I know now that California was the right choice for me to grow and learn. Even though volleyball wasn't all that I wanted, I'm here to strengthen my testimony of this gospel and do family history.

MISSIONARIES!!

So I have been the third wheel with the missionaries as they've been teaching lessons and it has got me thinking should I go on one? I don't know if I'm ready yet. I have enjoyed the spirit the lessons bring and feel like a different person because I've been so involved with church activities. Just a thought, what do you think? p.s. Here's are pictures of the Elders I've been with Bradbury and Scott.

Busy Girl

So it has been four months since I made the goal to attend the temple every month which I successfully have done!! I also have been busy officiating 4th graders and 8th grader girls volleyball and its the best job ever!! I have two test left and one paper which means only ONE semester left till I get my BS !!! I also have been tagging along with the missionaries of our ward and helping them teach lessons to this investigator. This experience is so neat and reaffirms the gospel to me every time the elders teach. I'm so grateful that I have been able to help them and in return they have been really helping my testimony grow more!!

Disneyland with the Girls!!

Mad Hatter and Goofy
Shalise, Me and Katie

The Girls

So for the third day of spring break I had a job interview with a summer camp which I believe I got. The fourth day of this week I got to go to DISNEYLAND!!! It was the longest day that I have ever had, but perfect. The weather was 82 degrees and I was with great people my aunts Susan and Annetta and her girls Shalise and Katie. Then her daughter Kameo came down with her family!! I had tons of fun learning how to draw characters and learned patience with waiting in lines that were 70 minutes long, but worth it !! It was a great day till we were leaving I couldn't find my keys which caused me to have an emotional anxiety attack. Luckily after 20 minutes of looking I found them in the side door!! And I parked at a McDonald's so we didn't have to pay twice for parking and after losing my keys I was worried that it might have been towed, but since we prayed all morning it wasn't!! So yes prayers work and patience also!!
I love being at Disneyland, but mostly with the people I was with!! Yay for FAMILY!!

First day of Spring Break!

Me and Shalise

So after this weekend in Kanab I drove back to California with my aunt Annetta and Shalise to San Diego. My aunt Susan took us shopping, out to lunch and then we did a nature hike next to the beach. I love having tons of family to go hang out with :) I will head back tomorrow and make a trip to Disneyland with the girls!!!

Easter Weekend in KANAB!!

Almost all my family

Danny and Me

My little brother Hayden and ME

So my mom's family decided to go to Kanab, Ut for Easter. You're probably wondering where in the heck is Kanab, well it is this small town in southern Utah just north of St. George. In Kanab all you can do is hike and ride 4 wheelers and eat, which we did for TWO days!! We went to the slot canyons and looked at different colors of sand and then we went to a pizza cafe, then we went 4 wheeling and flew kits. The next day we went to animal sanctuary and then rode 4 wheelers again and ended the day playing softball with a dollar bat and ball. I had a great Easter and loved spending the weekend with my family!!!

April Fools

So Lyn and I had a date night last night and decided to go see a movie called Remember Me!! with Edward heck yes!! We had a discount ticket for a movie that was 2 weeks out so we only had to pay $7 instead of $9 or $12. So we were running late, but as we walked in the movie still wasn't playing. So we hurried to the bathroom cause girls have to go before and after the movie. We came back in and it still hadn't started. So we sat there for 30 minutes before the movie started and the first thing the screen said was Miley Cyrus.. And I was like what she in this? Then the screen said " The Last Song" .. I was laughing so hard we sat in the theater waiting to see Edward and instead we got to see Hannah Montana! hahaha Anyways it was really good and the guy was a hot volleyball player! :D

Most importantly I was able to check it off my BUCKET LIST!! P.S. I also took a job as a REF for volleyball.. crazy huh!! P.S.S. I played volleyball all day yesterday for the first time in 5 months and I am so so so so sore today!!

I've lived with Lynda for two years now and have learned that we have 10 different nicknames for each other! Lynda is taller then me, haha so we love wearing heels together!! Monica is a sophomore and completes Lyn and me on the court she's our libero. Monica moved in this year and has made us all fall in love with frozen yogurt which is very addicting. I love them both and I'm so grateful for them in my life :)

Temple Visits and MEN!!

So I have been working on my goals which one of them is attend the temple monthly and to do genealogy. So I went to the temple in January and while I was going in a girl and cute tall guy walked in after me. I was trying to stay spiritually focused, but couldn't help thinking he is really cute and tall, YES!! As I was changing clothes the girl and I began to talk and sad to say she was so nice and yes dating the cute guy. Ah!!! So I went to the temple this last Thursday for the month of February and was so excited because I had family names. So as I was checking in again behind me were a girl and really cute tall guy. And they had family names also, so as I was changing again and began talking to the girl and of course they are dating too!!!! Ah!! So instead of me getting down on myself and sad, I asked the guy to do the work for my boy names. Ah so even though I tried not to be sad I am a little because every time I go to grow spiritually and be positive at the temple, I meet ideal husband material that's already TAKEN! So I'm a little nervous to go for March, maybe if I choose to go at the beginning of the month I will get different results!!! Then there is this HOT RM I meet three weeks ago and invited him to the fireside last night and he didn’t show or respond to me so I guess he is hiding. So I'm scaring men off and attracting men that are already taken by girls. Haha, Oh well I'm staying positive and accomplishing my goals and moving forward!
