B Date

Tonight we did our B Date which included dressing in black and blue, listening to the Black and Blue CD by Backstreet Boys. We ate burritos, then went bowling and finished the night strong with Baskin Robbins. (Batman and Superman)

ABC Date

Today we started our first ABC Date, Hauns was in charge and surprised me by heading up to American Fork Canyon to create Art. We walked around the lake and then sat in the back of his truck drawing the landscape of the lake. Hauns' picture focused on the mountain and my pictured focused on the lake, it was a fabulous day.

Strawberry Days

This morning I got to attended the Strawberry Days parade with my wonderful cousins and baby Benson was my date. I love this kid too death!

Denver Colorado Temple

On our way back to Utah we stopped by this beautiful gem in Denver. It was a neat experience to share  my testimony and the purpose of temples to my dad and Becki.

Burnett Family Reunion

This summer I was able to take a road trip with my dad and his girlfriend Becki to Oklahoma for a family reunion. We had a wonderful time seeing cousins, aunts, and uncles that we haven't seen in 7 years. We had a great time sleeping in a tepee and playing card games since it rained a lot.

Tonight I had a small SLCC reunion with Yahosh and Vanessa Bonner, Yahosh  played on our men's basketball team the same year I was playing volleyball. Yahosh went on to play in Colorado were Hauns and him ended up playing basketball together. Small World!

Lena and Lara invited a bunch of people from the ward to spend the night at their cabin in Torrey, Utah. I had a blast participating in a lip sync battle sining " Leaving on a Jet Plane". We also did some hiking which was fun and made me remember how beautiful Utah is.

Tonight we went and watched my cousin Avery Peterson perform as the  Elphaba from Wicked. She did an amazing job! And of course I had to take a crazy photo with all the cute little girls!

Today I went to the movie theater with my mom, my aunt and cousins. We went and saw Aloha which put us into the Hawaiian mood so then we ate lunch at Rumbi Island grill. We were having great time visiting and feeling Hawaiian. I then meet up with my friend Hauns to drink a mango smoothie at a cute Hawaiian restaurant. It was a fun Hawaiian Day in Utah!!

 Tonight for FHE we hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls. I was a bit nervous since I donated blood that day but I pulled through and made it to the top. It was so pretty and a great reminder of how wonderful and beautiful Utah is!

Today was the first day of summer for me so what a better way to start then with Soda Pong. I decided to spice up the game by wearing these great tattoo sleeves which brought some luck. Hauns and I struggled at the beginning, but after a few time outs we pushed forward and took the WIN!  (While cleaning up I was dumping out the water cup and almost poured the water all over this guy walking pass. Ah so embarrassing.)
