Minute to Win it

For the last day of school Miss Funk's class and mine joined together to play Minute to Win it.  This was such a fun idea we had to do with our kids.  The kids were chanting so loud for each other and really getting into the activities. I was only able to get a few shots of the kids which doesn't do enough justices.

Towards the last week of school the kids put together a small fractured fairy tale play as groups. The kids did a wonderful job learning their lines and performing well for their peers. It was a fun last week of school.

Sock Day

For the last nine days of school I decided to blow up balloons and put a different activity into each balloon. So we had bubble gum day, move your desk day, write with a  pen, lunch in the classroom, kickball day, movie day, read outside, minute to win it, and of course SOCK DAY!! I bought each kid a pair of socks in which they got to wear  only them in the classroom.  The boys thought they were so cool sliding around the room. I even had some boys wear their socks everyday after that because they loved them so much.

Shopping day with my friend Bridgette Funk.. We went out shopping for mother day gifts as we also pampered ourselves with a free manicure and yogurt stop!!

Katie's Wedding

Today I was able to experience a beautiful sealing ceremony for the first time for my cute cousin  Katie Gallagher's. It was so neat how the ceremony is done and how strong the spirit was felt as the two became one. I am proud of my wonderful cousin and wish her the best!!
